What happened to Beer biceps on Indian show ?

YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, known online as ‘BeerBiceps’, is facing significant backlash over a controversial remark he made on the YouTube reality show “India’s Got Latent.

” During the show, Allahbadia posed an inappropriate question to a contestant: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or join in once and stop it forever?” This comment has been widely criticized for its offensive nature. In response to the growing outrage, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has announced her intention to raise the issue in the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology. She emphasized that while freedom of expression is a constitutional right, it comes with responsibilities and reasonable restrictions. Chaturvedi stated, “Using offensive language in the name of comedic content crosses boundaries and is unacceptable. Having a platform doesn’t grant the right to say anything.” Following complaints from several MPs, the Parliamentary panel is considering summoning Allahbadia to address the matter.

He may be issued a notice to appear before the panel to answer questions related to the controversy. In light of the criticism, Allahbadia has issued a public apology, acknowledging his lapse in judgment and stating that the controversial segment has been removed from the show’s recording. He admitted that his attempt at humor was inappropriate and unfunny, conceding that comedy isn’t his strength. The incident has sparked a broader discussion about the responsibilities of influencers and content creators, especially those with significant followings among younger audiences. Many are calling for clearer guidelines and stricter enforcement to prevent the dissemination of offensive content under the guise of humor
